For this fourth episode of "End the year well", we meet Alix Alleguede, yoga teacher at YUJ.
"Alix, can you introduce yourself in a few words?
My name is Alix, I have been a yoga teacher for almost 6 years. I was a dancer when I was young, then I stopped moving and found myself doing a static job that no longer suited me... Yoga found me and I changed my path and my life.
I am passionate about the world of the body, movement, travel, myths and legends and the power of the Feminine.
Can you explain to us which are your two favorite postures and tell us why?
I really like the reversed warrior because you have to be both grounded and light. And it's also a posture that I find very beautiful and very fluid.
At the moment, I also really like the bridge pose because it pushes me to come out of my shell and open fully, even more during the Winter months.
Can you give us some of your best tips for ending the year well?
For me, the most important thing to fully understand this end of the year is to take time for yourself in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the end of the year celebrations. It is a period when we are more in demand, more surrounded and where we lose our routine a little. Do not hesitate to take a little time alone with yourself in the middle of all this. We always have the opportunity, even an hour: a yoga practice, a reading, a good bath etc.
And also enjoy all the little holiday pleasures, sometimes hidden in simple things.
What is your favorite YUJ piece among the new arrivals , what do you think is special about it?
I'm a fan of the Plume Navy leggings that I love madly (already), the dark print makes it easy to wear with everything and at the same time it's a change from black!

I wear the set with the Yogi sweatshirt which goes with everything and is perfect against the cold. These are really my must-haves that I wear every day to teach!
